The bed and breakfast accommodation is ideally located for all outdoor pursuits and is only a 10 minute drive from the busy town of Oban with all its amenities.

The guesthouse is only a few feet from the shoreline with more than ample space for residents cars in our private car park opposite the house.

The drawing room, added by Lady Stewart Bam is reported to be a scaled down version of the drawing room in the original Ards House, a grand mansion on a two thousand acre estate in Donegal on the Northwest Coast of Ireland, now a Capuchin Franciscan Friary.

We have recently refurbished the spacious drawing room to reflect its comfortable elegance.

There is a cosy fire to welcome you and help you relax, original works of art and collectables to peruse and even a grand piano for those gifted with the talent!

The generous and delicious Scottish breakfasts, featuring the best of local produce are served in the attractive dining room.

Vegetarian or special diets are also catered for.

As the village of Connel is an ideal base for day excursions in all directions, packed lunches are available.

For dinner, we are happy to advise guests on the many restaurants located nearby.

Ards house has 5 individually styled and tastefully decorated bedrooms all furnished in a blend of contemporary and antique styles creating a homely ambience.

Three of the bedrooms have views over the magnificent waters of the Firth of Lorn and are furnished with king-sized beds.

All rooms are equipped with ensuite baths or showers, radio alarms, hairdryer, hospitality tray, bathrobes and toiletries - some have television.
